GIRARSI-CODE

FEEL THE

GIRARSI-CODE!

My art contains a code.

The GIRARSI-CODE.

To recognise it, please read this story:

Plato's parable of the cave

In a cave, prisoners have been bound since childhood. They cannot move their heads sideways, nor can they turn around. The only thing they see is the cave wall in front of them. The wall is illuminated by a fire behind the people. Various objects are constantly being carried along in front of this fire, casting shadows on the wall in front of the captives. These shadows are all these people have ever seen in their lives. The prisoners know nothing of the fire or the objects. Instead, they take the shadow images to be the only true reality.

One day, one of the prisoners manages to free himself. He turns around and sees the true world outside the cave. He sees the sun, the sky, and other unfamiliar things that the people in the cave do not know. Initially, the freed prisoner is confused and considers the new objects to be less real than the familiar shadow images. Only after some time does he become accustomed to them and recognize the real world and its beauty.

He decides to return to the cave and enthusiastically tells the other prisoners about the world outside, wanting to free them. However, the others do not believe him. Instead, they mock his insights and declare him to be crazy.

In relation to the allegory of the cave, many people live like the prisoners. Just as they perceive the shadows on the cave wall as real, they see the things they perceive with their senses as the only truth. They live in a world of illusion.

To truly see the world as it is, they would need to free themselves from the cave or realm of the senses. And also question the entire existence.

This step requires courage. Because it can be uncomfortable and confusing to free oneself from one's comfortable reality or from the bonds and recognize what is truly truthful.

To experience this, only one action is needed: To turn around!

GIRARSI!

GIRARSI (italien = turn around)

COLORS AND SHAPES

OF THE UNIVERSE

My drawings awaken the gaze towards truthfulness. They depict the colors and shapes of the universe, drawing the viewer into its fascination, far from the learned worldly matters.

They invite one to immerse oneself in the truthfulness of being, which will be experienced when one turns around.

The GIRARSI-CODE is a gateway opener. It opens the gate without a gate. The gate from duality to singularity.

So many people tell me that looking at my paintings has a calming and healing effect on them. That is the power of the universal. Of the divine.

I am so grateful to have been given this ability.
